SACHSENHAUSEN
CONCENTRATION CAMP
<
Gallery1
While
serving on active duty in the U.S. Army and stationed in Berlin, Germany
I got the chance to visit a concentration camp in July 1991. It was
the
Sachsenhausen concentration camp in Oranienburg, Germany. This was an
experience I will never forget. You hear about this stuff in school
as a kid
and you see it on TV but to actually set foot in a real concentration
camp is
an eye-opening experience. It was also very sad thinking about all the
people who suffered and even died there. I hope my images give you a
sense of what a horror that all was. Never forget.
